About Sheridan Lake

Sheridan Lake is located in British Columbia's Cariboo Country, near Lone Butte, east of the community of 100 Mile House. The lake is about 14.4 kilometres (9 miles) long and 8 kilometres (5 miles) wide, with a surface area of 1659 hectares. It is located at an elevation of 1150 metres (3600 feet) with an average depth of 7.6 metres (25 feet) and a maximum depth of 35 metres (115 feet). This crystal clear lake is fed by underground springs and is abundant with aquatic life and big trout.

Sheridan Lake features over 208 kilometres (130 miles) of mapped and signed trails maintained by the Interlakes Snowmobile Club, the Sheridan Lake Quad Squad and The Friends of Sheridan Lake Society. These trails are suitable for hiking and mountain biking during the warmer months, and for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling during the winter.
